The problem with their willingness to be helpful is that it often spread
thinly and the freebies that you received which no one begrudges of course,
also means that they don't have the time to deal with bona fide customers.
Admittedly we are a long way away in the US and I think they feel (without
saying this) that the US is really a problem for them. They are being asked
to quote on products that few can afford because of the shipment cost. So
why bother as most of their enquiries lead to nothing. They are just too
nice in not turning around to the "do you have" etc enquiries by just
telling everyone that the price is doubled by S&H or wait 6 weeks or more
for sea borne freight.
