cheap snow tires in the US

Just a heads up that if you have a US Sam's Club near you, you can pick
up a set of Pacemark snows in 195/60-14 for around $40 each, for
example. These tires are studdable and had good traction for me last
winter on my 90q20v, though I did notice that they seem to have worn
quickly, since they measure the same tread depth as my 2 year old
Nokians. Perhaps I just put a lot more miles on than my wife does,
though I know the Hakka 1s are very durable.
I'm told these tires are made by Goodyear for the Canadian market.
I didn't see any sizes above 15" that would fit most Audis, though I
think they can special order some, for example 205/55-16.
