I've been driving Nokias for 10 years or so...mostly Hakka 10s...

I put a set of NRWs on my wife's A6 quattro wagon last year, and they are
fabulous. Unbelievable grip in 3-6 inches of snow...stopping, turning,
accelerating like the car is on dry ground.

Maybe some of this is due to the quattro system...but it was enough to get
me out of a year old Range Rover and into an S6 wagon.

The NRWs are *great* winter tires. Then again the Dunlop 5000s that we run
for summer tires on her car also had pretty darn good grip.

The NRWs are certainly okay for summer use, but I believe in keeping winter
tires separate. Less treadwear, less heatcycling, etc.

If you want an even more aggressive winter tire, go for the Nokia NRQ, or
the Hakka 1. But for all around driving, it sounds like the NRW is a good
choice.
