www.12v.org suggests changing the water pump at 75k although you would
typically change it when you do the timing belt at 90k. Is this a
documented problem w/ the 12v V6?

The 60,000 mile service is a tune up with filter and fluid change. So
change...spark plugs, all filters, change brake fluid and
antifreeze...etc... At this time the exhaust, CV joints and other
components should be inspected for leaks/wear. Also, it's a good idea
to
put in new manual tranny and rear diff fluid as well (even though it's
"lifetime" fluid).

Audi suggest changing the t-belt at 90k miles. You can change it early
if
you wish but, again, Audi's recommended interval is 90k miles (or 7yrs).

HTH!!

I'm looking at buying an A4Q Avant 2.8 30V 5 speed.
The car has about 60,000 miles.
I figure it's time for a timing belt & water pump. What is a ballpark
estimate on what this might cost to have done?
What other items need to be done as part of a 60,000 mile service? Any
cost
estimates on this other stuff?
Thanks!
