remember that the best brakes in the world go under 13" rims... ;-)
i've got a pair of ap-racing brakes which go just fine under 15", and
provide the same sort of braking as by big reds on the wagon...

Well my big point was that more grip is a great way to utilize big brakes,
without it and they become silly. When most people go for gripper tires or
wider tires it's usually on a plus or plus two size, not saying you can't
get a good 15" track tire for your stock wheels, but most go for bigger rims
than stock, plus it's pretty hard to find kits that even go under 16" let
alone 15" or god forbid 14".
