I think it looks rather nice. I too would have preferred silver, but the 
blue doesn't look all that bad. Perhaps because I'm so used to seeing 
engines that aren't so nice and shiny-new... :-)

Hmm... that makes me wonder. Why would an engine rebuilder, who makes a 
living at such, not use high-temp paint? Perhaps they have found this a 
better alternative?

Well, if his looks okay (after a few years and many miles) using this same 
paint, then I wouldn't worry too much.
