90 Front Swaybar

Can anyone with a '90-'91 90Q check their front swaybar and tell me if the
end links are mounted to the control arms or the uprights?  Rumor is some of
the later cars had the swaybar mounted to the uprights, but I'm not sure if
these were 10v, 20v, Quattro, fwd, etc.
I looked at a '90 20v Coupe Quattro yesterday and the front swaybar was
attached to the control arms just like on the 4000.
