if there was ANY way possible to get out there.. I would have been in the
running. I had a GREAT time at the Mt. Washington Hillclimb this year and
am putting together a northeast gettogether with Phil when he gets into
boston on business.

however.. i cant resist being a comedian when i have the chance :)

... I know that Rob is just joking, but I have to say I applaud Dan's
generosity! Keep in mind that this ticket will get you into the races ...
which means it is worth $20 just for that! I don't know for sure, but I
would imagine that Saturday will be when you'll be getting to meet the
drivers, since Sunday they'll be a bit busier ... but there's sure to be
more than a light snack in the Audi Chalet on Saturday ...

Since I'm making a post, I thought I would also mention that we will have an
opportunity to see the ALMS champions for free in downtown San Jose. Here
is a snippet from an earlier message for those who might be able to attend
...

I will be there ... probably in my Blue/Grey motorcycle leathers. I hope to
see other Audifans there too. Last year was great IMO, I got to hang out
with the Audi folks up close and personal for the better part of 2 hours ...
and we got to watch the cars do laps around Cesar Chavez Park!
