Brake misbehaviour - ABS?

1..Verify the emerg brake handle is all the way down, and that the brake fluid
and Pentosin reservoirs are full. Those are the 3 or the 4 items that cause the
light - the 4th is actual pressure. The pressure switch is on the
whatchamacallit directly behind the master cylinder.
Also try removing the two leads for the pressure switch and jumpering them
together with a paper clip. I did have one of these go bad and it drove me nuts
figuring it out.
2..ABS activation at the edge of stopping is a wheel sensor issue. Either the
sensor isn't fully seated, you have an intermittent signal from one wheel, or
the teeth are clogged with rust buildup. What the ABS is seeing is one or more
wheels stopped (locked up) while the others are still turning those last few
feet. This is not a pump issue - its a wheel sensor issue.
