Hmm, better mileage in the air-less environment of Colorado, with a 4.2L V8
than the 2.3L I5? I find that hard to believe, personally. I owned an 88
5000, and got about 30mpg on the highway (chipped). I own an A6 2.7T, and
get about 25-27 on the highway. However, when I arrived here, I brought my
99 Firebird with me. 5.7L V8, and on a GOOD day it only got about 19 on the
highway (compared to about 30 in Michigan). *shrug* I'd like to know Audi's
secret, if it's true...

Best regards,
Brad
