an observation about european cars vs the rest of the

i recall reading that all the veedub model names were after prevailing winds 
throuought the world - corrado, jetta, scirocco, and i think vento, bora, 
etc.. are all names of or types of winds. like golf (gulf)

tho i'm not sure where the "eurovan" blows....
