Sharan is a desert wind, Corrado was made up to sound Spanish by VW
marketers, though it is similar to one word for flame, Scirocco is some
desert wind. Vento means Breeze. Don't really recall what Jetta means but
if I recall correctly, it has something to do with sailing. 

BTW - winds are named from where they come from...
