The standard Audi BPV has been 034 145 710 A (Bosch p/n 0 280 142 108),
though they don't last long.
There was also the Sport quattro BPV, 035 145 710 (Bosch p/n 0 280 142 102),
which is supposedly stronger and a bit more responsive. These were also the
same as the Porsche 944T BPV, Porsche p/n 993.110.337.50 (though this now
gets you a Bosch 108 instead of the 102, but it is cheaper than the Audi one
~$25 at Carlsen). The Sport Q/Bosch 102 BPVs have been discontinued as best
I can tell but may still be in the pipeline somewhere. I was able to get
one from Adirondack Auto Brokers. While it did feel more responsive than
the stock one, it honked like a goose at 2800 rpm and part throttle so I
switched back to the Bosch 108. The honking was supposedly also a problem
with the standard BPV (see below) though I didn't experience it. May depend
on the application.
The latest Audi part number is 06A 145 710 N (Don't know Bosch #). This has
been redesigned to eliminate the honking noise. Don't know if longevity has
been addressed. See the following TSB:
