possible fire sale on '87 5kQ (tale of two Quattroes)

With due apologies to Dickens: ;)

I have a line on a '87 5kQ that has some electrical
damage due to a seized rad fan motor.  It still runs,
and I am looking at a reasonably low price to bring it
home.  The owner and I had been in discussions about
the car before the motor shit its bits (O Audi why
can't you install a fuse where you should?).  I can
work on wiring, that's what my boss pays me to do.

Anyhow, yesterday Steve Jensen and I installed a new
tie rod into the 5kQ wagon he has to sell to keep from
being a single man again. ;)  I took it out on I-20
and gave it a stomp on the pedal.  Steve could tell I
was pleased with the car's repsonse to my right foot.

So, listers, should I just buy both cars and be done
with it?  Keep the sedan as parts car for the wagon?
Part out the first one and let the list enjoy the
spoils?  Fix it up and sell it for one of you northern
US/Can listers to have as a winter rat?

Bill, who has way too many cars now and maybe Sara
will leave if I get two more :)  Naah, she likes the
100 too much and knows I like cheap cars.
