I haven't been following this thread 100% so if this Caravelle has been
discussed before use the trash bin.
It sounds like Colin is talking Renault. Renault had a Caravelle back in
the early 60s, before the R8, built on a Dauphine chassis. It was a rear
engine swing axle design that would tuck on command or not on command. A
nice looking little sports model with removable hardtop and softtop but as
with Renault of that day a POS. I almost bought one but went with a Karmann
Ghia at the last minute.
