help needed with part number

Searching the FA doesn't reveal anything, but the 811 number indicates
that it's a part original developed for the Audi type 81 car (4000),
and the 422 seems to indicate that it has something to do with the
power steering system.  A description of the part's appearance would
be very helpful.  Also, a genuine VW/Audi parts box usually has a sticker
on it with a very terse description of the part like "Hose", "pump",
"clamp" or somesuch.  That would be a helpful clue too.
