offtopic posts

I'm willing to allow offtopic posts about the recent tragedies.  We are
after all a community, and at times it helps to talk about things within
your community.  

I would ask that for the sake of those paying by the byte or who already
have too much mail on the topic that you include the letters "OT:" at
the beginning of the subject line of your post.  This will help anyone
who wishes to filter out these posts.

I will let everyone know when offtopic posts again become taboo, or may
create a separate list for offtopic items.
