Peter, two things:

1. Kabul has been under fire for over a decade.  The U.S. hasn't been 
involved in their civil war; it's been the Taliban against the fractitious 
bands that partially supported the previous government that helped kick the 
Soviets out.  Confused yet?  Then just accept that it has nothing to do 
with the U.S.; these guys are ALWAYS fighting.

2. I missed the Audi content in this.  If I want a political discussion, 
there are better places to go find it.
