we're back on the air!

Here's what happened.  The box that runs this site has been housed at my
company's data center, which now has no internet connection due to the
catastrophe in NYC.

Brett was heading home to Boston anyway, so he drove the box an extra 70
miles to the office of John Dunkle, who runs rennlist.com.  John has
graciously offered the use of his network, at least on a temporary
basis.

I had to laugh when asked - no, I didn't know that NYC was going to get
hit, and this is not the outage I was referring to.  Rather, my work
situation is in a state of flux at the moment, and my home DSL line is
out of service (due to the bankruptcy of Rhythyms).

For the time being, the site is and should remain stable with no further
interruptions.  Any future outages will be announced and downtime should
be minimum.

Thanks for your patience and support.  Thanks also to several people who
offered the use of servers, etc.  This simply made more sense for the
time being, but I will explore those options for the future.
