Another Audi in the family

...no, not mine this time. Four is enough for now... but my brother's
succumbed to my constant Audi evangelism and bought a charcoal metallic
1985 Coupe quattro today. It's got 195k km, was imported from Germany in
'96 and is in great shape. He's selling his '91 Nissan 200SX (fast, but not
as much fun as the CQ and parts are criminally expensive).
The CQ needs instrument lights (all dead), driver's seat back frame needs
welding and the exhaust needs realigning as it rattles at low revs. The
engine (136 hp KV) is in great shape and there are no clunks or rattles in
the drivetrain and suspension. The car came with a thick wad of receipts
for work done over the last year and a half, totalling more than the
purchase price. I think he's got a bargain, and he's enjoying it a lot so
far... his words: "I couldn't think of a better car to buy for the price".

This is his private car- his company car's an A3 TDI 110 hp for now, to be
replaced with a new A4 TDI later this year.
Now I'll just need to devise a way to talk my parents out of their Golf
into an Audi and we're an all-Audi family... :-)
