at 3.58 this morning my girlfriend brought a little girl, loen (our interpretation of a thai name, loan, meaning little flower) into the world, weighing 7lb 11oz (3.5 kg).
Watching and helping with the birth is something i didnt want to do, but to anyone who has this opportunity, id say do it.  You'll never have such an experience as seeing a new life being born out of all the toil and pain,  i also dont feel youd get the same bond.
safe to say ive been grinning from ear to ear.
I wonder what car she'll be driving in 17 years time???
