Kneale, you will be happy to know that Audi is one of the few companies that
got it right. Their DRL system activates low beams (at reduced wattage),
side markers, and taillights. The dash lights are not activated with DRL, so
when you can no longer see your instruments you can take that as the cue to
turn on the headlights :o)
