Gasohol

Hi, Chuck (and the list as well).

I've seen the results of the use of gasohol first hand, as have many other
shop owners.  It's no myth.  The local Bosch field rep helped me with the
first one I saw, and the porsche dealer in our area confirmed his diagnosis.
Literally quarts of creamy sludge had formed in the tank of a 944, all from
the effects of the fuel on the inside of the tank.  I can't tell you what
the percentage was in that particular instance, but it must have been pretty
high.  Porsche specifically warns against the use of fuel treatments
containing alcohol, and I'm sure other German manufacturers do as well.
