Someone could help me upgrade to knock-sensing ignition?

It is an add on, and intercepts the ignition signal to retard the timing.  I 
think, for the money, the stock CIS3 ignition module is a better upgrade.  
The J&S is going for about $400, stock parts much cheaper from a wrecker.
