Which manual is better for me.

I've no experience with the Haynes for Audis, but the Haynes I have for my
2-wheeled BMW has fairly descriptive how-to directions for repair
procedures although some of the specifics like torque settings are
erroneous. I have the Bentley for your car (we started our Audi
association with a pair of 4Kq's), and it's very non-descriptive. It's
written as a reference for folks who've already been trained to work on the
cars. You can FIND very helpful information in the Bentley, but you have
to figure out where to look. It's one of the best sources of data
available, but it's sometimes difficult to follow. The Bentley will tell
you what tools to use where, but not how, I guess. If you are going to
service your car yourself beyond changing the oil and replacing the filter,
then you'll learn how to use the Bentley.
