Teflon

As a wee lad, there was an engineer from Fluor Corp, a major user of Teflon,
living right across the street.  They were enamored of Teflon, but were
having a terrible time keeping it in place under pressure.  I've heard this
is a problem with suspension bushing applications as well. The stuff "grows"
and "creeps", making it deform and thereby altering suspension settings.  I
do NOT know this for a fact, but everyone stopped using it when Delrin
became all the fad.  John
