Mix N match engine swap?

I've been offered a *really* nice 1986 4000, FWD, standard shift, white,
grey mouse fur interior. Price is right. Very innocuous, unassuming little
car . . .

Does the 1.8 turbo engine from the A-4 fit this car? I'd assume I'll need
the engine and the harness/CPU, etc. What else? (You know where I'm going
with this, right? Sure, a 4.2 V-8 would be nice, but probably not practical
at all.)
