Subject: Final drive leaking oil onto cats

Same problem here with a 96 A6qw.
Had to replace a trans seal and for that the whole exhaust has to be
removed. $750 mostly labor but my extended warranty picked it up.
Seems like all of these cars have seal and ignition switch problems.
I've had both. That extended warranty was a worthwhile expense.
First time I say that in my life...
