Hi all,

I've just returned from two days and 900 km on the road, driving to and
from an international Audi meeting in Folembray, northern France. It was a
great experience, some excellent driving with my new 90q and the
opportunity to see some very special cars do their thing on the track. Most
notable were the Sport quattro, several very fast urquattros (among which
two from Luxemburg which ate everything else for breakfast!), an RS2 Avant,
an MTM-tuned urS4 Avant (looking very mean), two S6 plus Avants and many,
many more. The sights and sounds were incredible, I've still got the noise
of roaring five-cylinder engines in my head.
My special thanks go out to fellow lister Mihnea Cotet and his girlfriend
Cristina, who showed us their town, helped us out with translations (my
French is more rusty than I thought initially..) and welcomed us at their
place. Thanks guys, great views, great quattro roads, great food.

More to follow, probably also from fellow lister Ferry Stolp. I've taken a
coupla digipics and shot some video which we'll digitize soon and put up
for downloading. We'll post the URL when it's done.

Now I need a beer. Badly.

Bye, Tom
