Mihnea,
I have two hydraulic handbrakes in my rally car.
One is the traditional rally type used for hairpin corners. It is spring
loaded. You pull it back, it locks the rear wheels and it release itself.
The other one is a braking lock ($25), in order to pass tech all rally cars
here in the US need to have a functioning parking brake. It works very simp=
le
and effective. You press the brake pedal, than press the valve, and it holds
the pressure from the valve back until you press the pedal brake again. This
was a suggestion from Martin Pajak (thanks). So, I could get rid of the
cables, handle, etc.
