Oil preasure?

I just fixed my oil preasure gauge in a recently purchased late 1989 200tq.
This was easy since it was simply unpluged. Now, I am starting to think this
was done for a reason i.e., to conceal low oil preasure. So here is my
question: What is the proper oil preasure for this vehicle at idle and at
above 2000 rpm? At startup it seems ok (i.e., gauge reads close to 4 or 5
bar); however, when it warms up I get between 2-3 bar (when really warm it's
about 2.3-2.5 bar) in the 2000-3000 rpm range, and about 1.2 bar at idle.
THIS IS ALL ASSUMING THAT EACH LINE IS ONE BAR (as I think it is). Also I am
using 10w30 motor oil (little thin). Second question is what weight should I
use? Third question is if it is low oil preasure what is causing it?
Thanks
Darek
