Eyvind,

stabilizer bar goes off fist.  Assembling is reverse.  Bentley says that stabilizer bar
should be removed/installed with wheels on the ground.
It make it easy.  If you don't have a well in your garage (like me) then:
- jack up the front (both sides)
- remove fron brackets
- remove big nuts holding it in the arm
- put a jack under control arm on either side and jack it up until you will see(or feel) that
the bar is centered in the hole in the control arm. Now it can be easily removed.

Same thing when you install stabilizer bar.  All nuts/bolts on stabilizer and control arm
should  tightened with wheels on the ground.  Again, if you can not do this way - jack one
side up to position the whell like it is on the ground and tighten that side.
When assembling, place control arm's ball joint into strut and tighten the nut first. Then
assemble stabilizer.  I use additional jacks to hold it while doing front brackets.
