Another opportunity for a rant. Any takers?

Ahh, the memories.... the *last* time I delt with Tire Warehouse here in
Maine, was getting the Fuchs mounted and *balanced* by them. They didn't
wipe the wheels of AT ALL and every one of the weights fell off in their
lot as I was rolling the tires out to my car to put them back on (at
least they let you mount/remount your own wheels to the car there).
Then, as they cleaned them just enough so the weights would stick I went
inside and asked the mgr if there was any sort of garantee that the
weights wouldn't fall off again.. he said thay "...as long as they
stayed on while I was on their lot I..." gooooood.

Then this year Carey, not daunted by my story, got her (my old 90q's)
rims mounted and balanced there. As she pulled out one wheel was left so
loose that it was clunking around on the hub, so she had to turn right
back to have them actually use their hands(gasp) to torque down the
rogue wheel. Once she finally got home, and the car sat for a day she
went out to 4!? flat tires.... lovely... incompetance all across the
board.....

Anyway, as a note to all listers North, South and everywhere in between,
steer clear of Tire Warehouse in Raymond, ME.
