It does on my 92 900T and I suspect it will work just fine on your 87
900S. If you want a definitive answer post it on the bulletin board at
http://saabnet.com

Subject: Generic O2 Sensors- does Audi interchange w/ Saab?? [Audi
related]
Hello all,
TPC quoted me $39.99 yesterday for the 'universal' Bosch 3-wire O2
sensor, in case anyone will need one soon...obligatory audi content...
If I get the 3-wire O2 sensor that TPC sells as 'universal'* for audis,
will it fit onto an '87 $aab 900s (16v)? Any BTDT?? Perhaps, I can
*carefully* use the spark plug thread chaser I had used on my audi O2
sensor threads to confirm this?
The 'universal' sensor from TPC is Bosch #13913, and, according to TPC,
is not a true "universal" but has the connectors for particular F0rd
cars (thus the price diff?). . . . so all else being equal, clipping off
and crimping on connectors is what makes this sensor universal. The
Bosch website part locator lists Bosch#13028 for the $aab sensor w/
connector & #13019 for an 88' 90q sensor w/connector.
I have complete faith that despite all the different p/n's for different
cars, only a couple or very few physically different O2 sensors are
actually made (like an O2 sensor family tree)...or at least I hope
so....
Thanks in advance for any help,
George
