I just saw mentioning of Syl-Glide grease. First, I did not know that it is silicone based. And second, I just checked
compatibility of EPDM rubber with silicone grease and ... bingo! It is what should be used. Plus, cheap Buna-N grease seal
(from Chicago Rawhide) for e-brake cam is also compatible with silicone gease.
