This alone can account for your shudder. I have 4 sets of wheels...only one
set is straight (rallying...such a blast!).

My 'best' bent set is out by perhaps 1/4" to 1/2" on two wheels...they
shudder...but at different speeds...sometimes smooth as silk...other times
it's like riding a bull.

Do you have a straight set (you or a friend) you could try out?
