They did make a V8 Avant- but only the one. It was for Herr Piech's
personal transport, and these days it's in the museum mobile, Audi's own
museum in Ingolstadt.
As for the A8 Avant- seen the Avantissimo proto? Betcha we'll get an A8
Avant for the next generation of that car...
