I feel the need to put my experience into the list of others. I once chased=
a Merc 560 up
I-15 for about 25 min @145+ till I saw the Merc almost loose it all in a ti=
ght bend (he was trying to loose me the whole time) He crossed from the ins=
ide lane over right in front of me and pased the white line! I was so scare=
d for him that I thought I would see him flip 15 or 20 times. My 91 200tq h=
eld rock steady the whole time and when it was time end it, I went ahead an=
d put my foot to the floor and left the scene terminating at an "indicated"=
167MPH!
I know, but at it was faster than that big fat hog. You should have seen th=
e look on his woman friends face when we passed them at their terminal spee=
d of 148MPH. We finaly slowed to a snails pace of 80 (safe) and let them ca=
tch up again and that was that. I don't feel the need to go that speed any =
more. Kinda scary when you think about the toads that pull out w/out lookin=
g here in the states. I couldn't go that fast anyway as I sold the car. I n=
ow have an A6 tqw (not a fast car but with two kids?) I also have a 90tq bu=
t it redlines at 130 or so.
