I had my 1974 Mercedes 280 up to about 115 once on a remote stretch of
hwy 101 at about 3 in the morning. (Yah, I'm just a young'un) It felt
rock solid - tracked great, wasn't floaty or anything. Wanted to take
it up faster, but was afraid that the engine would blow up.
