driving fast (what's the fastest you've gone in a car)

Car: late 89 200 TQ, chipped, 14psi, Z rated tires on
17" wheels (correctly plus-sized)
I find that the speedo indicator on position 22 of the
Climatronic gives perfect speed readings--although in
kilometers.

Previous owner did 150mph+ straight out, but he lived
near much more rural highways.

I would do a top-speed test when there is no traffic
at all, but my ticket for doing 107 in a 55 in the
Passat (99 1.8T) is enough to deter me! Although $250
was very reasonable.

I'm not writing how fast I've gone in the Audi :P who
know who's reading this! :O
Let's just say that my RX7 went faster beyond redline
in 4th (9500+rpm, don't worry, its safe) than it ever
would in 5th.
