Luis,
I just replaced my voltage regulator on the 4kq and I had a similar problem
the new on will go in with a manuvering. yes I ralize how bad the hands get
eaten, but it will go in. Try putting the two brush end in and then sort of
hook it into place. It took me about 20 minutes of trying before I could get
mine to fit. I got a little squeel for the first few minutes after it went
on but then it went away.
