No, you were not.. Audi specifies 90k for the actual timing belt, but they
say nothing about the water pump, which is the leading cause of premature
timing belt failures on the V6 engines (the timing belt drives the water
pump, and if the pump seizes, it destroys the timing belt.). I have heard of
failures as young as 35k!!! If you are losing any significant amounts of
coolant, inspect the area near the water pump for traces of coolant. If
there is any thought that the pump is leaking, get it changed soon.

Are you sure the maintenance is at 75,000 miles? I was told to have mine
done at 60k. Was I lied to?
