Converting analog dash to digital?

Audifans,

Does anyone know how difficult, or even if it is possible, to convert my
analog dash to a digital from a late 87 US spec Coupe? I'd like to have
one of these, just for the coolness factor, and Dave Ullrich tells me
that it is both metric and imperial, meaning that I could use one from a
US spec vehicle. I already have the wiring diagram in the Haynes manual.

Any info would be appreciated!
