This is a standard trick that suppliers use to cover up either their sources
or the part #'s of the parts their sourcing...often part #'s can be tracked
to certian applicaitons (obviously), but casting #'s and the such can even be
tracked to countries, even factories, leading the competition right to the
source.

Try this, call your dealership, ask about a part for a certian application,
then ask for the part # so you can shop around some different prices, see if
they give it to you  ;)
