OK.
I've done some more playing, but I need 'real device' feedback. My Nokia 9110i just has too
much memory (40MB in total) for me to see the real problems that normal GSM handset users see.
Follow the instructions given earlier. Click on 'Reference'. There's only one option so
far - a MAC12 pinout.
Both the main index file for this and the data file it jumps into are pretty big. On the
9110i, they take a few seconds to load down and then you can drop the connection - the cache
is big enough to keep them both in and response times are negligible. Is this the same on
other handsets?
Writing WML to work on most handsets is a nightmare. Some don't support WTAI, some don't
support tables, all have different screen sizes - even variants of the same model.
