I also bought a megasquirt kit and assembled it. Haven't had so much fun in
a LONG time - all the blinking lights work, programs from any W-95 box, top
quality deal. Advise you also get the "megastim" emulator ($30?) which
makes the EFI computer think it is connected to an engine.
Only ONE problem for Audi 5 cyl applications - I think this device needs to
drive an EVEN number of injectors . . . there are two thyristors which
drive the injectors, and on a 4 cyl, there's a "wasted" pulse.
This particulr unit is destined to go on a four cylinder engine, so it will
work for me. I'm not sure how to or even if it CAN be adapted to a five
cylinder engine.
