Yes, you're absolutely right, that's the way mine was done. Will bolt right
up to 4kq exhuast.

>Will I need to bend the RF tierod? I'd think not but what about the truth?

No.

>What other specific points about this conversion should I know? I know the

I haven't figured that one out yet either, but haven't tried too hard.

>I'll also need to grind part of the clutch housing to be able to bolt the

Yes, use the bracket w/o senders as a template and drill thru it. Will be a
very clean job then.

, I'll need a custom PS pump bracket (anyone has one
>they
>would copy for me?) because I don't feel like swapping the whole hydraulic
>system the good old ATF system works right and ATF is so cheap!

Get a piece of 1" x 3/16" bar steel and a torch. Bend 2 90's in it in a
vice, bevel the edges and seam weld it to the existing PS pump bracket.
There's a pic of this on my site: www.geocities.com/audikramer/gt_main.htm
It'll take you longer to paint it than make it.

The

>custom aluminium end tanks...

I'd save the $$ and just go with a stock intercooler. It'll do the job.

>What else will be involved? I know brakes won't be sufficient and I'll swap
>some Porsches in :-)

I'd worry about tires before brakes if it's gonna be a street car.
