QLCC upgrade for Mac-14

Can anyone out there shed some light on the QLCC?  I have an opportunity to
purchases a QLCC ECU, but I want to know more about it before I buy.  Cost
is $275 + my ECU in exchange.  This is cheaper than IA and TAP, but sounds
like the code might be available.  I can burn chips at work, so if anyone
has the code, or an EPROM to copy...
