Buzzing Seat Warmer

> I have an 86 4KQ and whenever I turn the dial up for the seat warmer, something in the dash cluster starts to buzz/crack/pop really loud. Anyone with any ideas what could be the cause? The buzzing stops when I turn off the warmer.

Well, it's the control unit for the seat heater - an extra tall
relay-like thing.  Maybe its contacts are dirty, maybe it is shot.  You
might be able to get a used one that works ok if it's shot.
