Pentosin Volcano is supposed to be evidence the seal on the pump shaft is
leaking, allowing air into the system and causing the pump to froth.  There
IS a replacement for the shaft seal in the standard reseal kit.

If this is a new or "factory" rebuilt pump, the seal that normally results
in the oil coming out the reservoir cap SHOULD be OK, so there might be an
air leak elsewhere.  I'd check the fittings on the suction hose (between
reservoir and pump).
